Ukraine exported nearly 24 mln tonnes of grains

Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY, and as of January 26, Ukraine exported 23.926 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In particular, wheat exports totaled 10.909 mln tonnes, corn – 8.945 mln tonnes, barley – 3.928 mln tonnes, and other grains – 144 thsd tonnes.

According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 257 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.

Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 24.183 mln tonnes (including 10.992 mln tonnes of wheat, 3.928 mln tonnes of barley, 9.119 mln tonnes of corn).

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the bid prices on the domestic market varied depending on the region: 3-grade wheat – 3250-4000 UAH/t, 6-grade feed wheat – 3100-3600 UAH/t.
